Box Office Performance of Jolly LLB 3
The courtroom comedy featuring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, titled Jolly LLB 3, has made a promising debut at the box office.
Under the direction of Saurabh Shukla, the film premiered in theaters on Friday, September 19, and has demonstrated impressive growth in its earnings.
As reported by trade expert Taran Adarsh, the film garnered Rs 12.50 crore on its opening day and saw a significant rise to Rs 20 crore on Saturday, bringing its total to Rs 32.50 crore nett in India over the first two days.
This represents a remarkable increase of nearly 60 percent from the first to the second day, indicating a positive reception from audiences for this latest installment of the beloved series.
Adarsh also mentioned that the box office figures for Sunday might be affected by the highly anticipated India vs Pakistan cricket match; however, he predicts that the film's opening weekend earnings could reach around Rs 54 crore.
For context, the initial film in the series earned Rs 7.35 crore in its first two days, while Jolly LLB 2 accumulated Rs 30.51 crore. With Rs 32.50 crore already secured, the third film has outpaced both of its predecessors.
This installment features a courtroom clash between two Jollies, each attempting to win their cases by exploiting legal loopholes and debating who truly deserves the title of the 'real Jolly' in the legal arena.
The narrative centers on a case involving distressed farmers facing land seizures by a corrupt businessman, portrayed by Gajraj Rao. Akshay Kumar's character finds himself entangled in the case, leading to a series of humorous and chaotic interactions with Arshad Warsi.
In addition to the lead actors, the film boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Huma Qureshi, Saurabh Shukla, Amrita Rao, Seema Biswas, Ram Kapoor, Gajraj Rao, Shilpa Shukla, Brijendra Kala, and others in significant roles.
Jolly LLB 3, produced by Star Studio18, was released in theaters on September 19, 2025.
